Tabanan, Baliwakenews A new wellness destination has opened along Bali’s quieter west coast, offering a combination of movement, recovery, beauty and nourishment in the natural surroundings of Pasut Beach.

Yuna Wellness Bali, located within Amarta Pasut Beach Retreat by Nakula, introduces a new approach to wellness in Tabanan, where volcanic black sand beaches, rice fields, coconut palms and river landscapes create a setting naturally suited to slowing down.

The opening comes as wellness increasingly becomes part of the modern travel experience. Rather than simply seeking an escape, travelers are looking for opportunities to disconnect from daily overstimulation, restore their energy and spend their time more intentionally.

While destinations such as Ubud and Canggu have become closely associated with Bali’s wellness scene, Tabanan offers a quieter alternative. Yuna Wellness Bali is designed to complement that environment, allowing guests to incorporate movement, recovery and personal care into their stay at Amarta Pasut.

A More Personal Approach to Wellness

The name Yuna is inspired by Japanese interpretations associated with gentleness, grace, connection, beauty and dreams. These qualities are reflected in the concept, which treats wellness as something that can become part of everyday life rather than an occasional indulgence.

The wellness facility offers a range of movement and recovery activities. Guests can start their day with yoga, use the fully equipped gym independently or arrange private training sessions.

The program also includes Guided Mobility & Recovery and Strength Training classes, offering options for guests looking to improve mobility, support recovery or develop physical strength.

Following a workout, guests can make use of the sauna, cold plunge, jacuzzi and infinity pool, creating space for recovery or simply unwinding at their own pace.

Yuna’s treatment menu further expands the wellness experience through massages inspired by Indonesian traditions. Treatments include Balinese Relaxation Massage, Javanese Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Yoga Stretch Massage and Foot Massage.

Facial treatments include the Moringa Glow Facial and Cucumber Aloe Vera Facial, alongside Dermalogica treatments focused on express care, deep purification and hydration.

Hair treatments, facial care and nail services are also available, bringing fitness, recovery, spa treatments and personal care together within a single destination.

Wellness Packages for a Weekend Escape

For guests who want to make wellness a central part of their stay, Amarta Pasut Beach Retreat offers a dedicated Wellness Package combining accommodation with experiences at Yuna Wellness Bali.

Starting from IDR 3 million, the package includes a minimum two-night stay, daily breakfast, lunch or dinner each day, and one spa treatment for two guests.

Available exclusively on weekends, the package provides guests with an opportunity to experience Amarta at a slower pace while incorporating wellness activities into their getaway.

Yuna is also open to Bali residents and visitors who are not staying at the retreat. Access is available through daily, weekly, monthly, six-month and annual options.

Daily access starts from IDR 200,000, while weekly passes begin at IDR 600,000 and monthly memberships start from IDR 1.6 million. Six-month memberships are priced at IDR 5.76 million, while annual memberships are available at IDR 9.6 million.

Membership benefits include 20 percent savings on spa treatments and dining at Lilly by the Sea Restaurant, as well as spa credits of up to IDR 10 million, depending on the membership package.

Private training sessions are also available from IDR 400,000 per session, allowing members and guests to tailor their fitness and wellness routines to their individual needs.

Finding a Slower Rhythm in Tabanan

Set amid tropical gardens and river views, Yuna Wellness Bali is designed to connect the wellness experience with the surrounding landscape.

A typical day can begin with yoga or a workout before moving into recovery time at the pool or spa. Guests can also enjoy meals at Lilly by the Sea Restaurant, creating an experience that brings movement, recovery and nourishment together without requiring a fixed wellness schedule.

Rather than following a prescribed itinerary, Yuna encourages guests to choose how they want to spend their time, whether through an active training session, a restorative treatment or simply a quiet day surrounded by nature.

“People are searching for more meaningful ways to travel. Bali has always had a spiritual and restorative energy, but today we’re seeing travelers engage with that more intentionally. With Yuna Wellness Bali, we want to create experiences that help guests slow down, feel present, and leave feeling genuinely recharged physically and mentally,” said Christian Sunjoto, CEO of Nakula.

The opening of Yuna Wellness Bali marks another development for Amarta Pasut Beach Retreat, adding a dedicated wellness component to a destination already centered on nature and a slower pace of living.

Yuna Wellness Bali at Amarta Pasut Beach Retreat is now open to guests, Bali residents and visitors.
