Baliwakenews – Indonesia-based hospitality, lifestyle and tourism communications agency SCOP3 Group is expanding its regional footprint after securing four new partnerships with Resorts World Sentosa, Hilton Padalarang Bandung, Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis and KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang.
The new appointments span Singapore, West Java and Central Java, bringing together a diverse mix of hospitality and tourism brands, from an integrated resort and global hotel group to a nature-oriented highland retreat and an independent luxury property with strong cultural roots.
The expansion adds to SCOP3’s growing presence in the hospitality and tourism communications sector, as brands increasingly look beyond conventional publicity to build stronger connections with travellers and consumers.
The agency’s latest growth also follows its recognition at the Indonesia PR of the Year 2026 Awards in August. SCOP3 was named a winner in the Marketing PR Program category for its campaign with the Saudi Tourism Authority, highlighting its approach to strategic storytelling, audience understanding and culturally relevant communications.
“Hospitality and travel are becoming increasingly competitive, and simply being visible is no longer enough. Brands need to understand why they are relevant to a particular audience, what makes their story distinctive and how to translate that into conversations people genuinely want to engage with,” said Ronald Liem, Director of SCOP3 Group.
He said the four new partnerships represent different segments of the hospitality industry and therefore require tailored communications strategies.
Resorts World Sentosa Targets a New Generation of Indonesian Travellers
One of the agency’s newest regional accounts is Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), the 49-hectare integrated resort located on Singapore’s Sentosa Island.
The resort is undergoing its RWS 2.0 transformation, introducing and evolving attractions, hotels, dining, entertainment and lifestyle experiences as part of its next phase of development.
Indonesia remains among RWS’ top three priority source markets. Through the new partnership, SCOP3 will seek to connect the resort’s developments with broader travel conversations, including family holidays, experiential tourism, luxury hospitality, dining, lifestyle and entertainment.
Among the experiences contributing to the resort’s transformation are Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore, the expanded Singapore Oceanarium, lifestyle destination WEAVE and The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort.
The communications strategy is designed to encourage Indonesian travellers who may already be familiar with Singapore and Sentosa to discover new reasons to return.
Hilton, Angsana and KoenoKoeni Bring Different Destination Stories
In West Java, Hilton Padalarang Bandung represents the arrival of Hilton’s flagship brand in West Bandung.
Located in Kota Baru Parahyangan, the 218-room hotel is around 10 minutes from Padalarang Whoosh high-speed rail station and approximately 30 minutes from central Bandung.
With four dining outlets, wellness and family facilities, as well as forthcoming meeting and event spaces, the property is positioned within the wider development of West Bandung. Its presence also creates an opportunity to promote Padalarang as more than a transit point to Bandung, but as an emerging destination for leisure and business travellers.
Meanwhile, Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis offers a different proposition centred on nature and wellbeing.
Located in the highlands, the resort provides experiences designed to encourage guests to reconnect with nature and one another. Its facilities include Mahoni Eco-Park, an organic herbs and spices garden, Terra Kids Club, Angsana Spa, outdoor yoga facilities and four swimming pools.
Its proximity to Gunung Geulis Country Club also adds to the resort’s appeal as a highland escape accessible from Jakarta.
In Central Java, KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang brings culture and heritage into the agency’s growing portfolio.
The 111-room small luxury hotel traces its roots to a gallery café featuring historically significant antique collections. Its identity is closely connected to craftsmanship, heritage and the stories preserved through objects passed down across generations.
The concept has since evolved into a contemporary hospitality experience described as a “portal through time,” combining historical elements with modern comfort.
Its culinary offerings include Roepa Rasa, Sapa Rasa and rooftop restaurant and bar Soeara Langit, complemented by wellness, leisure and event facilities.
Moving Beyond Conventional Hospitality PR
The four new partnerships come amid a broader shift in the way hospitality and destination brands approach communications.
With travellers facing an increasingly wide range of destinations, hotels, restaurants, experiences and lifestyle offerings, visibility alone may not be sufficient to maintain long-term audience interest.
SCOP3 said its hospitality communications strategy focuses on identifying the cultural, emotional and commercial relevance of each brand and transforming those insights into stories that can sustain audience engagement.
“Every hospitality brand has something different at the heart of its story, whether that is the transformation of a destination, the character of its surroundings, the heritage behind a concept or a new way of experiencing a familiar place,” Liem said.
“Our role is to identify that relevance and bring it to the right audiences in a way that feels genuine to the brand and meaningful to the people we are speaking to.”
With its expanding portfolio across integrated resorts, international hotel brands, luxury resorts, independent hotels and tourism destinations, SCOP3 continues to develop its expertise in hospitality, luxury lifestyle, travel and destination communications.
Its services include strategic communications, public relations, media engagement, destination positioning, influencer engagement and Indonesian market insights, supporting hospitality and tourism brands in building sustained relevance among their target audiences.
