Gianyar, Baliwakenews.com — OSA Catering Bali is expanding its business into the beauty and bridal sector through the launch of OSA Beauty & Bridal. The company officially held its grand opening on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in Batubulan, Gianyar.
The new venture marks another step in OSA’s efforts to build a more integrated wedding service ecosystem in Bali, adding beauty, makeup, hairdo and bridal services to its existing catering and car rental businesses.
The grand opening introduces OSA Beauty & Bridal as a new business line focused primarily on wedding services, while also catering to other special occasions such as parties, social events and graduation ceremonies.
Owner of OSA Catering Bali, Muliawan Santoso, said the expansion is part of OSA’s broader vision to develop businesses across the wedding and event industry.
“Our goal is to move to upstream, as I have mentioned before. OSA develop businesses in Bali, especially those related to weddings and celebrations,” he said.
Muliawan explained that the decision to enter the bridal sector followed the development of OSA’s car rental business, which he considers complementary to wedding services.
“Maybe next, we will launch decoration services as well, to make it more complete. So couples getting married will no longer need to look for different vendors across Bali. They can simply come to OSA, and we can provide everything in one door,” he said.

He added that photography and videography services could also become part of the company’s future expansion, although the immediate focus remains on bridal and decoration services.
“We will prepare those services gradually. For now, we are focusing on expanding into bridal and decoration,” Muliawan said.
According to him, the expansion also creates opportunities to develop wedding packages that combine OSA’s various services. Rather than focusing solely on food and catering, the company aims to provide more comprehensive wedding solutions, including packages for Balinese traditional ceremonies.
“If you look at them separately, catering and bridal may seem unrelated. But we want to connect them by creating packages through this expansion. OSA will not only offer food, but also bridal services, including packages for Balinese weddings, mepandes, and other ceremonies,” he explained.
The development of OSA Beauty & Bridal also involves I Putu Agus Saputra, a well-known makeup artist who is working with OSA on the new business line.
Muliawan said their collaboration began through a personal connection before developing into a business partnership. He said Agus had consistently provided beauty services and demonstrated his willingness to accommodate OSA’s needs.
That relationship eventually led to discussions about developing a bridal business under the OSA brand.
OSA Beauty and Bridal Services
Putu Agus or also known as Pande said the new business offers a range of beauty and wardrobe services for weddings and other special occasions.
Among the collections are Payas Agung, traditionally worn by Balinese brides on their wedding day, as well as modified Balinese attire designed for wedding receptions.
“This includes Payas Agung, which is commonly worn by Balinese brides on their wedding day. We also have outfits for receptions, including modified Balinese styles,” Agus said.
OSA Beauty & Bridal is initially targeting the Balinese market, while also opening opportunities to reach international clients.
“We are mainly targeting Balinese people and the local market, but if possible, we also want to expand internationally,” he said.
Pande said the collection currently on display represents only part of the range being developed, with additional pieces still being prepared.
The services are also not limited to weddings. Customers can book makeup and styling services for receptions, parties, social events and graduation ceremonies.
“Graduation is also included,” Agus said. Nevertheless, weddings remain the company’s primary market.
Pande also revealed that establishing a beauty and bridal business had been a long-standing ambition. However, the plan took time to materialize due to personal considerations.
“Honestly, I have wanted to establish this business for a long time, but I was held back due to certain circumstances,” he said.
The company is also preparing to build a dedicated makeup and hairdo team as the business develops. In terms of early demand, Agus said OSA Beauty & Bridal had already secured three wedding couples for October 2026.
Wedding packages include makeup, hairdo and wardrobe services, allowing clients to select their preferred looks and outfits.
“Everything is included from makeup, hairdo and wardrobing. Clients simply come and choose what they want,” he said.
Wedding packages start at IDR 5 million, while makeup services for parties or social events generally range from IDR 350,000 to IDR 1 million.
With the grand opening in Batubulan, Gianyar, OSA Beauty & Bridal begins its new chapter by bringing together OSA’s hospitality experience with beauty, makeup and bridal services.
The company plans to gradually expand its range of services as it develops, while maintaining the “One Step Ahead” philosophy that has become part of OSA’s identity. BWN-07
